Kitty sat down in the meadow under his favorite tree again. It was rather small tree, but its branches were lush with green leaves. He leaned back on it and sighed contently beside him to his right laid his sword and to his left was a large cooler. He took a bottle of wine cooler out of it, pop the cap, and took a drink.

Xero was walking in the meadow, not paying attention to anything, when she bumped into a tree. "Ow." She walked around the tree, and saw a person on the other side.
"Sorry to bother you.." she said polietely.

Madison had wanted to be alone, so she escaped to the meadow, but it seemed the meadow was occupied. Since they seemed to be from the inn (she slightly recognized one of them), she decided now was as good a time as any to make friends. She walked up to them and greeted them in a small voice, "Hello..."

Xero heard the person approach and looked her way. "Um... hello," she said quietly, then smiled.
She wasn't expecting to run into anyone out here, but she'd managed to meet two.

"I don't believe we've met yet," Madison said, smiling softly. "My name is Souma Madison." She held out her hand to the other girl. "And yours is?"

"I'm Xero Yugure," she said and reached her hand out, too. "Nice to meet you..." she said happily.

Madison shook her hand, smiling as well. "It's nice to meet you too! So, what are you doing out here anyway?" She realized it sounded ruder than expected. She quickly came up with an add-on. "I mean...it's not like you're not supposed to be..." She smiled nervously.

She looked around. "Um.. I don't really know. I kind of just wandered here. And this tree stopped me." She gave the tree a grouchy stair and rubbed her forehead.
"Oh, uh. What're you doing here?" she asked. "Sorry... I'm just curious."

Madison giggled as Xero rubbed her forehead. "Yes, trees can be very mean," she said jokingly. "I came here to think, but making friends is great too!"

Xero smiled. "That's a good reason."
((wow, sorry that was a really short reply o.O))

((Hehe. It's all right))
Madison went to the shade of the tree and sat down, pulling out a deck of cards. "How about some card games?" she said, smiling. "Know of any?"

Xero followed her to the tree's shade and sat down.
"I don't know any games, but I'm willing to learn some," she said.

"OK!" Madison said, smiling. "Heard of Dai Hin Min? It should be pretty easy to learn by jumping into it...what do you say?"

"Okay!" Xero smiled and scooted closer.
"Where did you learn to play cards?" she asked. She didn't see many people who knew how to play cards.

"Back home," Madison said, giving her a half-smile. "We used to always play a lot to pass the time, whenever I had any." She shuffled the cards.
