Saku whistled softly as he walked into the resturant alone and sat at a table. When the waiter arrived he made his order. "Tea and cookies for two please, I have a friend joining my shortly."

Madison walked into the restaurant wearing a completely different outfit from the garden. Her eyes quickly scanned the current inhabitants of the restaurant and spotted Saku. She waved from wher she was, not caring if he had seen her or not, and walked over to him. "Sorry I took so long," she said, sitting down across from him.

Saku looked up from little drawing he'd been making on his napkin when he saw Madison wave out of the corner of his eye and waved back. "Oh it's no problem at all, I just ordered so it should be here soon. I like your new outfit by the way."

Madison smiled softly. "Thanks," she said. She made herself more comfortable in her chair and placed her elbows on the edge of the table, putting her head on her hands. "So are these tea and cookies really as good as people say they are?"

"Actually I thought all tea and cookies were good really." He laughed. Then smiled once he stopped. "Besides, it's not really the food but the company, right?"

Madison smiled again. "You're right," she said. "I guess this time it'll be great." She looked around for a sign of a waiter with their order. "I wonder what kind of cookies they'll be." Her mind wandered to different kinds of cookies, and it was clearly shown on her face.

"I dunno, I didn't pick anything, I just said tea and cookies. Though you can order something else if you want, it's no hassle at all." He smiled politly at her. After all, cookies weren't THAT expensive. Unless she ate like a horse in which case he'd be screwed.

"Oh, that's great!" she said, clasping her hands together. She could usually eat a lot (which caused her to be a source of ridicule back home, where they'd wonder where all the food went), but she decided she'd restrain herself a little, since it was only a snack and not an entire meal. "Does it usually take this long? Do they bake the cookies when you order? Than that would be great." She smiled at him.

"I'm pretty sure they bake them in the morning, around noon then in the evening so that their fresh and don't have a chance to go stale. Anything not sold during the day either gets sold at discount to any who wants them, or they give them away to an orphanage about three towns over. They make a run there every two or three days or to other places where people might want cookies." He shruged as the tea and a plate of cookies arrived. The only thing on it at the moment were plain sugar cookies.

Madison smiled happily as she took her elbows off of the table and picked up the cup of tea. She held it close to her body and blew on it, the steam floating in swirls before drifting away. She took a small sip. She had been prepared for the heat, but it still burned her tongue. "That sounds like a righteous thing to do," Madison said, nodding her head.
