The harmony went 1, 2, and3, 4and. The melody had a more complex rhythm that hummed absently from a pair of pursed lips while the harmony sung brightly in the dancer's mind. By no means did the steps protray one of great talent, perhaps one of the worse dancer's possible; however, this did not cease her timely steps. She swayed left then right, stepped twice up, twirled, took two steps back, repeated. It was a simple dance made up in a moment. The intention to even make up the movements had not been initially there; her body had simply begun to move with the song stuck in her mind.
~~~~~~~
Edorya had been passing by the Music Hall on her way to enjoy the bright outdoors, take a run to town, and perhaps find a job so that rent could be paid. However, her hurried prance had slowed to a halt as the chords of a piano echoed out into the hallway. She had stood and listened until a curse was let out by the frustrated pianist having little luck in perfecting the piece.
Perhaps curious, perhaps bored, perhaps a simple love for music in general had made her slide onto the piano bench after its sole occupant had departed. She knew nothing of playing the piano; however, she was able to read the music. How? She did not know. Perhaps she had been a musician in her past? Of course, such dormant memories would never be available to provide an answer.... if they even existed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After humming through the piece with a voice not meant to sing, she had continued to hum while she went to depart the room.
Then the dancing had begun.
It wasn't until she heard the sound of the door opening did she abruptly cease. A red tinge climbed unto her pale cheeks slightly bringing her white hair to stand out against her pallid features. As usual, it was tied back with loose strands hanging out of the ponytail while her blue eyes were wide with embaressment for having been caught behaving so... well, not normal was all she could think of.
Typically, Edorya was either lazying about idling away her life or outside partaking in some sort of physically laborous excerise. Not even her attitude seemed appropriate for the elegant art she futily attempted on a whim. She was an aggressor who usually scowled or mockingly smirked at some poor soul who had dared speak to her. Even her attire was inappropriate. She wore jeans littered with holes, pair of beaten sandals, and a blue tanktop.
Wishing to leave quickly as possible, even with the hotness in her face, Edorya scurried up to the doorway and its present occupant. "I'm leaving." She gave no 'excuse me' or polite entreaty for the person to move; however, she was never a polite person.

Humans… people… rodents. They were all that in Ares eyes, they scurried and giggled about, bags of groceries in hand, the occasional cell-phone glued to there heads, they all made him sick, angry and even more menacing looking then he usually was. Ares had set out to take a few pictures of some unsuspecting target, so he could return to his room.. his red room, and develop more pictures again; it was the place he spent almost every moment in, making it appear as if he was just a visitor, nothing more, for the ammount he was seen.
In a attempt to avoid a large gaggle of girls tromping down the hall, he had shouldered his SLR camera, and took hold of a doorknob of a randomly selected room, pushed it open, and, was part way past the thresh-hold when he heard the flustered sounds of someone rushing towards him, it was instantaneous when he heard a quick. “I’m leaving.” before he could make it out to be a white haired girl, who he noticed with no real care, that she was blushing. Ares simply pushed past her, intent on hiding out here while the gust of people dissipated so he could continue stalking the halls alone, his steel grey eyes scanned the room: obviously a music room,. He shrugged and pulled his raggedy fur lined collar up near his dark blue mess of hair on his head, covering his neck, shoved his hands in his pockets and simply stood in the middle of the room.. listening for his chance to leave.

Edorya, not one often flustered, was immediately regretful of her childish antic and quietly berated herself. She was rather irritated she was the one pushed out of the way rather than vise versa; however, her feet had already led her to the crowded hallway. Not being a people person or one for close contact, her face grew hot out of another emotion. Anything little would set her off at this point; a high pitch squeal happened to be the eventual cause.
Snapping at the girl who had confidence only from her teeming friends, Edorya found her efforts at scaring people away futile and soon stumbled back into the music room not thinking her actions through in a desperate attempt to escape the chaos. She slammed the door with a few mumbled curses and turned to see the lone occupant standing in the center of the floor. She narrowed her eyes at him before leaning against the door with arms and legs crossed while the annoying chatter bounced around outside. At least she had avoided the crowds; however, she was now stuck in the room with some random maroon.
After brushing the hair that happened to fall into her face back, she tapped her finger against her arm irritably while staring off at some distant point in wait for silence as well.
Edorya was not a lover of people herself nor did she find idle chatter a worthwhile activity. Her earlier moment of embaressment was long forgot as her irritation had reached its peak. She had nothing in the way of patience and wished she was out enjoying the sun with the nice jog she had planned; she hated being cooped up.

Ares had ignored the girl, and even when she appeared back in the room all he spared for her was a blank calculating glare, which he soon turned from her, to the oak piano gleaming in the sun, it would make a good picture even if most of his subject matter was of the human kind, it could at least pass the time while the tital wave of roudy females vacated.
Ares clomped up to the piano and sat down, his grey eyes going back to the girl who was positioned against the frame of the door, arms crossed, and her nose seemingly in the air, he was sick of bratty girls, the world was overflowing like a grease pot in a burger joint with her type, ruff, tuff and tumble... per-pubesently angry at the world, whatever the cause, she still was what she was.
Ares took off the strap of the camera and glanced through the view finder at the ivory keys of the piano, after adjusting the speed and light meter he takes a picture and places the camera on the yop off the piano, allowing him room to lay his hands down on the keys, running a few fingers across it he plays out a small tune, could have been Bach.. or Beethoven.. either way it indicated some sort of musical background, glareing up again with his typical brooding look, and his perpetually furrowed brow takeing the room in, a partial feeling of normalacy hits him, urgeing him to ask a name of the girl, but it quickly gets buried in his mind, for he could assume right away she wasn't the one to give out a name, not that names meant much to him.

Edorya sighed boredly and averted her attention elsewhere finding her random point of 'intrigue' a boring crack in the wall. She caught a glimpse of the man taking a picture of the piano while her gaze began to aimlessly roam. She thought it an odd, pointless picture; however, each to his own or something like that.
The fellow seemed of the brooding sort with no preference beyond his own little world. Not that she minded. It was better than being stuck in the room with some yapper who didn't know the meaning of silence.
Speaking of yappers, the annoying chatter outside seemed to have reached a peak as the voices grew into a loud roar she soon hoped to recede as her fidgetiness worsened. Then she heard a melody from the piano. She turned her body, with one side leaning against the door frame, and attention towards the sound. It was a nice, light melody; one she had heard before. Of course, Edorya was horrible at matching the composer to the piece and title to the piece and such. But she had heard it before and very much liked it.
Edorya was a lover of music, any and every genre. She listened from heavy metal to country to classical. And she had to give kudos to the man playing; he wasn't half bad.
She remained silent as he played enjoying the sound; however, she resisted the urge to conduct her earlier activity of 'dancing', if it could even be called that. She eventually quiped out of curiousity and her own lack of memory, "What's that you're playin'?"

The sudden question wrenched out a halted bass note that wrang harshly throughout the hall, muteing the girls giggles and sounds, his semi glare hitting on the girl at the door way, he simply stared out from his mess of bangs that hung loosely over his face, before looking back down at the keys before tossing out in a low deep tone. "Chopin Raindrops, prelude number fifteen." that was all he said before he comforted himself on the bench and this time laid both hands down on the keys, intention was to actually play the song, banking on the fact at least the sounds of the notes would drown any usless yammering beyond that. He picked the song up from where he lazily plunked before hand, but this time more smoothly, the constant bass note from the left hand upon the deeper keys was soft, creating a tranquil feeling around the room, that slowly bloomed outwards smoothly upon the accoustical walls of the music hall, getting more climactic as it went on, pulsateing through the air, it was darker sounding now, suiting his demeanor perfectly as he hunched, a darkened shadow moveing with the notes, regardless that the sun was on him, it just all the more blocked out the opposite side of his body to the windows with deep shadows. once the song slowed so did he, allowing it to deliberately play out till the end, leaving the room in deafening silnce as compared to the reverbiration of the piece, he didn't do much after that except for lean back and take intrest in glareing out the window again, noticeing the voices from the hall had all but faded. ((OOC: for your listening pleasure... I believe it inhances the whole post if you listen to the song while you read the explanation... www.youtube.com/watch?v=825Ekk1u3mQ&feature=related ))

The bass note caused her to wince as it reverbrated in opposition to the medley played. She was certain the guy was going to smite her with his glare for interrupting; however, he instead replied and continued from where his fingers left off. The notes were notably more smooth and practiced.
Edorya relaxed her pose a little using the door frame as sole support for her body by allowing her hip to drop against the wood. The song was at first soft and light then dark and stormy only to end as the fierce winds died away for a sunny day.
The noise outside was blocked from her ear reception as she focused her attention on this music. It wasn't until the final note was struck did she realize the silence from beyond the door. Only a few muffled voices remained, and they were quickly moving away. She was free to leave.
But first, Edorya gave a short, light applause. "Bravo. Well played." She pushed herself from the doorframe and walked over to the piano. She gave the instrument a few light taps with her knuckles before saying, "Play another one." It sounded more like a demand than request since Edorya was neither practiced in manners nor one to have her will denied.

Once Ares ceases his playing he glances over at the girl who had made her way closer to him, the hairs on his neck raising instinctively, he had heard the applause, but even if he was one to take compliments like every other person, there would be real response to it.
‘Play another one.’ Is what she said… he simply sat there, eyeing her up, he could aimlessly deny her the simple request and walk out without so much as a glance, but he was far too egotistical to allow such a thing go unheeded, so again he adjusted his hands and began, the song was one of Chopins Nocturne pieces, yet another dark one, D flat minor to be exact. The sound contrasted the atmosphere, and weather outside, as it was perfectly sunny in the Japanese countryside, with it’s green trees laid out before the window, and glinting glass from the windows of the small villages buildings further on… god knows why he was here, but it certainly wasn’t to entertain anyone.

The silent look she received nearly convinced Edorya that her dema...er... request would be denied; however, the pianist complied by beginning another somber tune. Once again the melody was dark and made the warm glows of light shining in the room dim away. Yet, in all the piece's moodiness, it was just as well executed as the song before it.
As the notes descended from their climax, the composition slowly reached its end. Once more, the musician was deserving of two thumbs up. But, now that the notes no longer rang out, Edorya felt the heat of the sun outside again and looked to the window to see the cloudless day... and remember her task. However, her original initiative to find a job was long faded and would be persued another day. It seemed she would have to find other means of amusement for the day; however, she could no longer stand to be confined to the indoors. Her fidgetiness returned suddenly in want of fresh air, so it meant it was time for adieu.
Not bothering to speak another word, Edorya turned on her heel and walked to the door. To her pleasure she opened the door to an empty, silent hallway. Not bothering to turn around, she raised a hand in gesture of farewell and said, "Caio," before walking out of the music hall.

Ares was vaguely aware at the ending of the girl's impatience, but simply ignored it as an annoying quirk, he finished the piece sharply and reached for his camera instantly, and aiming it at the turning girl he snaps a picture of her, pulling his camera back from aiming position to glance at the settings, makeing sure the shot would come out once he chose to develop it.
He stood as well and shouldered the camera from its strap and shoveing his hands on his pocket he begun his idle wandering of the room, his glareing gaze takeing more of the place in, as he didn't want to leave at the same time as the girl.. last thing he wanted was some tag along, or some awareness of the wherabouts of his room, the thought of what the girl may think of him takeing the picture was far from his mind, as to him, he'd already got all he wanted, even if it did appear he was playing for the girls pleasure.
