Ryoku pushes the door open after the silent walk down the hall towards the end of it to the two large gold latched doors, they stood out from the plain 6 panel single wood doors of the opposing rooms for the residents of the Inn. She unbuttons the top button of her dress shirt as she holds the door open for the short blond, nodding into the large room, the one wall faceing the forest was full windows from the ground to the cieling, that wrapped the bow shaped room. The minute they enetered the black ball on Ryoku's head shifted and awoke, to leap off her head to the bed, the little black cats face an oddity, its beady little eyes, and its massive razor toothed grin gleaming up at the newcomer in the room. "Here we are.. it's not much, but it works."

Ana took slightly more time that she thought she would as she looked at the room. The full window facing the forest was specially attractive to Ana and she didn't bother trying to disguise it.
While the inn's owner made herself more comfortable, the russian girl focused her attention on the small cat. It was a strange sight to be sure and she couldn't help being surprised by it, though on the other hand the cat's grin did make it look like a bit of a mischievous fellow. Ana found herself smiling at the little feline.
"Your room is quite nice Miss Ryoku. Thank you again for inviting me." Said Ana after turning to face Ryoku again.
Ana did wonder how much she should reveal to the inn's owner as the wrong call to the wrong people by the wrong person could end up deciding her future for her.
"Are you familiar with a chinese martial artist by the name of Gao Mao Zhang Miss Ryoku ?" Asked Ana opting for starting with the simplest question first.

Ryoku looks over her usual white walls and shrugs, the plain, yet modern room was nicer than any room in the Inn, but the room had been her cage for so long, the complement was meaningless, and brought no swelling of pride although she offers a nod of thanks in response as she walks towards the small sitting area directly near her bed, that consisted of two white couches, a love chair, and a glass coffee table with a long stemed orchid that sat growing from a steel pot. Ryoku takes a seat and nods towards a seat, offering the small blond beauty a seat, hopeing it may comfort her. Nao sat like a little statue, its wide grin widening more as the girl shows intrest in him, his fur fluffing like a puffer fish and flattening almost like a summons. Ryoku watches the girl as she questions her, the name holding a slight ring to it, like dejavu, she couldn't place it. "Gao Mao Zhang.." she says flatly but with an accent as if she herself had practiced the tongue of the Chinese for years, glanceing out the large window to the noble fur tree's foliage that fluttered in the eastern wind. "I.. can't recall.." she said, curiosity haveing to be the obvious reaction after such a strange question, even if no one could tell thats what she was feeling.

Ana noticed Ryoku's reaction but was at a loss as to it's meaning. It could well mean that Ryoku recognized the name vaguely or that she did not recognize it and maybe she thought she should. This in itself gave Ana some hope as she had fervently hoped her coming hadn't turned out to be a waste of time. Still it hardly began to answer the many questions Ana had regarding the whole unusual situation she now found herself in.
"He is about seventy years old and wears green clothing most of the time. He is taller than me but shorter than yourself...." Said Ana before stopping somewhat embarrassed as she realized most people fell under her definition of height. ".... He also has a rather long thin mustache and a goatee."
" I know this is probably a strange question but it is important." Added after a few seconds.
Truth be told. Ana did wish she could ask for someone's opinion or even advice on her own strange situation, but there other matters that she couldn't ignore. How much should she tell a stranger ? And even if that wasn't an issue. Should she burden someone else with her problems ?
Ana found herself still drawn to Ryoku's eyes and stared for a second or two before remembering that staring was considered bad manners in Japan. Switching to Nao she smiled again at his antics and unconsciously drew closer, looking happy rather than carefully guarded for the first time since Ryoku and herself had started talking.

Nao simply kept up his puffer fish act, as if he was trying to hypnotise her, his already toothy cheshire like grin growing larger as she neared. Ryoku still seemed unaware of what Nao was doing as she looked out her large windows obviously deep in thought at the description. "That name..." she says turning her sky blue eyes to gaze at the girl, her tired eyes watching her carefully. "It may pay to look through some of my families old photo albums in the attic..." she said partially to herself than the girl.

"You are a cute little fellow are you not ? " Said Ana softly as she waited for Ryoku's answer. She would have petted Nao but did not know if he would like it. There was also the possibility that the kitten would want to bite her but she preferred to think that was unlikely.
"You would be able and willing to do this for me ?" Asked Ana hope evident in her voice. The prospect of making heads or tails from the enigma that prompted her to come to Hakkyou was simply too enticing.
Ana herself was not a total stranger to things supernatural. One of the students back at the academy was positively inhuman when it came to power level and flashiness in that regard, and Ana had surprised herself on many levels by sparring with her in more or less equal terms rather than running from something that should have shaken the foundations of her view of the world. Still she didn't let that affect her for good or ill and her life had remained ordinary to a degree. Ryoku's somewhat unusual and Nao's definitively unusual appearance had made her recall the experience briefly, but Ana thought it was mostly wishful thinking on her part. There was little possibility in her mind that both Ryoku and Nao were supernatural denizens and even if they were. Why would Ryoku tell her something like this ?
Ana kept her musings to herself though to anyone watching her it was fairly obvious she had something in mind. Ana for her part kept looking at the pale blue orbs that kept attracting her attention, not the way some of the other girls back at the academy had, but rather in a mysterious and not quite explainable way. Though at that point she focused her attention to other parts of Ryoku as she didn't want to look belligerent or ill mannered to the innkeeper and her grasp of japanese etiquette was quite limited.

Ryoku noticed the female intently gazeing into her eyes, she noted it as unusual, and perhaps if she thought about it farther she would find it flattering, but it didn't offend her, her tight traditions told her it was rude, but she wasn't so hung up on such things as her father and mother had been, as a child they were always pushing manners, ethics, and traditions on her, as if they were trying more than anything to ensure she turn out like them, she often woundered how she would be if she hadn't such a strict up bringing, she always woundered beyond her usual mundane existance, but the gnawing to be as unnoticed as possible always beat the thoughts down, like her emotions, and most of any other need for outstanding action. "It has been a while since I have been up there... it might be nice to relive some memories...." She said her mind hesitateing, as she honestly didn't like to remember much at all, hence to why all her history was locked up in that room, she notices the girl nearing Nao. "You may not want to touch him.." she said assumeing she had already thought of that. "He tends to.. devour appendages." she says with a small quirk of the corner of her mouth. Nao shooting a beady eye'd glance at her, jumping down and bounding atop the couch she was on, as if attempting to seem innocent. "We can go up there now.. I could do for a break..."

My thanks Miss Ryoku. I appreciate you taking the time to do this on my behalf. Said Ana with a small hopeful smile.
As for you. You will have to be cute at a distance then as I like my hands just the way they are. Said Ana with with a hint of mischievousness as she glanced towards Nao. She could understand the little fellow not wanting to be touched if he didn't want to but could also see the little one might have actually enjoyed biting her. She didn't hold a grudge against the tiny furball but didn't find the prospect of experiencing his apparently powerful and painful bite just to amuse him.
All in all Ana was glad she had talked to Ryoku and felt she had a chance to finally put together the real reasons behind her master's request.
OOC: Should I start a thread in the attic ?
